Young Leader
We would welcome volunteers to support the club and help the young people of Tean. We literally cannot run this club without your support.
What is expected of volunteers? The main role is to be there for the young people on the Friday (set up from 6:30pm), club starts at 7pm and goes on till 9pm, then pack away. Hopefully you will go home feeling reassured that you have done some good for the local area!
We have ad hoc organising meetings and an 'Annual General Meeting' each year to go through the club's financial situation. You don't have to attend these, but your opinion and perspective would be useful to shape the club's future.
Youth Worker
Gerald Crookes (GEZZA)
Gerald helped to set up the club in 2014 and provides activities for the young people at the club.
Volunteers Needed
Could this be you? Get in touch with us and join in! We will do a free DBS check and references may be needed.
Young Leaders
We regularly have young people volunteering for their Duke of Edinburgh award and other schemes. Please let us know if you are interested. Young leader training is available.
